Creative Mending & Embellishment – 24th March 2018
When our clothes have too many holes in them or are lacking in individuality, more often than not they are thrown away or buried at the bottom of a drawer…but they don’t have to be! With a little imagination a hole can be patched and turned into an interesting feature, a frayed cuff can be decorated with some colourful stitching, or some buttons and ribbon can transform a boring top!
This workshop is a great way to get you thinking outside of the box, and to start looking at your clothes in a whole new light. A number of different techniques will be covered, and materials for patching and embellishing will be provided. Bring along a favourite item of clothing that has seen better days and get inspired to give it a new lease of life!
