11th September 2018 | “Bodice Fitting Masterclass” with Charlotte Newland, Winner of The Great British Sewing Bee
The wonderful Charlotte Newland, WINNER of The Great British Sewing Bee 2016, will be here in Nailsworth on Tuesday 11th September 2018 as a special guest teacher running her full day “Bodice Fitting Masterclass”! This class is designed for students who have some experience in dressmaking and know how to assemble a pattern but have struggled with fit.
You will fit the bodice, not the skirt, of a dress pattern of your choice. Students need to bring their own dress pattern which must have a separate bodice and skirt – no shift dresses for this class. It’s a good idea to bring a couple along in case one goes really quickly. Often three muslins are required for a perfect fit – the more pieces your pattern has, the longer it will take.
Where: (Upper Room) Town Hall, Old Bristol Road, Nailsworth, Stroud GL6 0JF
When: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 10:00 – 17:00 (with half hour lunch break)
